VIVIENNE WESTWOOD*color forcasting 2010 A/W

In my studies, these years Vivienne Westwood concerned about some critical problems.
We can see the trend in her collection .

First, in '' S/S 2008 Ready-to-wear''. The theme is 「56」. This shown about the human right and freedom. She objected the government that proposing anybody could be in jail for 56 daysbefore going to the court.

Second, in ''A/W 08/09 Ready-to-wear '', she concerned about the problems of global warming . She imagine a society of jungle-dwelling eco-warriors. The clothes that resulted are the warriors' uniform. The pattern on the clothing are some flowers, snakes and butterflies. The low value color show the urban jungle as we lives while the hign value colors show the natural environment.

Third , in '' S/S 2009 Ready-to-wear '', the theme is 'Do it yourself'' . She was inspired by the rainforest. She want to save the rainforest and encourage us not to consume, that is "less consume, but do it yourself".

Last , in'' Fall 2009 Ready-to-wear '' , she want to arouse our awareness about the envrionment issue in her collection "+5°" . The meaning of "+5°" is that 5 degrees are counted to rise as CO2 levels skyrocket.

Recently, the enviornmental problems are very serious. Therefore, i think Vivienne Westwood will continuously to focus on the enviornmental problems . After her Fall 2009 Ready-to-wear'', she concerned about the 5 degrees torise as CO2 levels skyrocket.
In the next A/W 2010, i think she will
more thorough to show about the enivornental problem of goble warming.

- Glacier dissolve ( 冰川溶化) - > Sunken land (陸沉)
-Species vanishing (物種消失) -> Polar bear
- may be she will think some deity to help our world
- or some devil to remind us about the problems

Finally , i think she will use some cool color with the principle of resemblance .To show the earth become cool and cool . But maybe add a red colour to remind us to concern the problems.
